Diamond beach, opposite Jokulsarlon lagoon, can be reached by either parking in the dedicated car park on the south of road 1 or, crossing the bridge going east you can park at the lagoon car park and walk under the bridge to the beach. We did both with more icebergs on the former side when we visited.
